1. Game Overview

Manthy is a browser-based survival game where participants stake their Manthy NFTs, maintain them by feeding daily, and compete to be among the last 50 NFTs standing. Winners receive physical merchandise, exclusive 1/1 digital art, and a permanent Survivor Badge on their profile.

2. Soft Staking

Manthy uses a soft staking mechanism. This means:

• Your NFT is never locked on-chain. You retain full custody and ownership of your NFT at all times.
• Staking is recorded in our off-chain database only. No smart contract locks your token.
• You are free to transfer or sell your NFT at any time. However, if ownership changes, the NFT will be automatically unstaked from the game.
• Soft staking carries no on-chain risk to your assets.

3. $MTHY Token

$MTHY is earned passively by staking NFTs and is used exclusively to feed your Manthy within the game. It exists solely as a game mechanic to create strategic resource management. We make no representations about any future utility or value of $MTHY beyond its current in-game use.

4. Game Mechanics

• HP Decay: Each staked NFT loses approximately 1% HP every 30 minutes if not fed. HP ranges from 100% (healthy) to 0% (eliminated).
• Feeding: Costs $MTHY to restore HP to 100%. Players must feed regularly to keep their NFTs alive.
• Catching: NFTs with HP ≤ 50% can be caught by other players and moved to the Museum.
• Auto-Catch: NFTs that reach 0% HP are automatically caught by the system.
• Museum: Caught NFTs are displayed in the Museum. Original owners continue to earn a small amount of $MTHY.
• End Game: When 20 or fewer NFTs remain alive, the game ends and survivors are declared winners.

5. Prizes & Rewards

The last 50 surviving NFTs are eligible for prizes:

• Exclusive 1/1 digital artwork (delivered to a wallet address provided by the winner)
• Physical merchandise (shipped to an address provided by the winner)
• Permanent Survivor Badge displayed on the winner's profile

Prizes are awarded per NFT, not per user. If one user has multiple surviving NFTs, they receive multiple prizes.

Shipping costs for physical merchandise are the responsibility of the winner. We are not liable for any shipping delays, customs fees, or delivery issues once the package has been dispatched.

6. Wallet Connection

To participate, you must connect a compatible Cosmos wallet (Keplr or Leap). We do not store your private keys or seed phrases. Wallet connection is handled entirely by the wallet provider's extension. We only store your public wallet address for game identification purposes.

7. User Accounts & Profiles

Profiles are created automatically upon wallet connection. You may set a display name and upload a profile picture. Display names are anonymous by default (randomly generated). Uploaded profile pictures are resized and stored in our database.

8. Eligibility

There are no geographic restrictions. Anyone with a compatible Cosmos wallet and a Manthy NFT may participate. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into these terms.

9. Fair Play

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Exploits bugs or vulnerabilities in the game
• Uses automated tools or bots to gain an unfair advantage
• Engages in any form of manipulation or abuse

10. Disclaimers

• The game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not responsible for any loss of NFTs, tokens, or data due to technical issues, blockchain network problems, or wallet provider failures.
• Game rules and mechanics may be adjusted at any time to ensure fair play and game balance.
• We reserve the right to end, pause, or reset the game at our discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manthy and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the game, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or digital assets.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Automatically Collected

• Wallet Address: Your public Cosmos wallet address when you connect your wallet.
• Game Activity: Staking, feeding, catching, and claiming actions within the game.
• NFT Data: Token IDs and metadata of NFTs you stake in the game.

Voluntarily Provided

• Display Name: Optional custom display name for your profile.
• Profile Picture: Optional uploaded avatar image.
• Prize Claim Data (winners only): Wallet address for art delivery, shipping address for merchandise, Discord username, and X (Twitter) handle.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain the game
• To display leaderboards and game statistics
• To verify NFT ownership on the Cosmos blockchain
• To deliver prizes to winners
• To prevent abuse and ensure fair play

3. Data Security

Prize claim data (shipping addresses, contact information) is encrypted using AES-256-CBC before being stored in our database. Only authorized administrators can access decrypted claim data for the purpose of prize fulfillment.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• When required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights or the safety of our users
• With your explicit consent

5. Blockchain Data

Your wallet address and on-chain transactions are publicly visible on the Cosmos blockchain. This is inherent to blockchain technology and is not within our control. Our privacy practices apply only to data stored in our off-chain database.

6. Data Retention

Game data is retained for the duration of the game and a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. Prize claim data is retained until prizes have been fulfilled, after which sensitive information (shipping addresses) will be deleted.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Update your display name and profile picture at any time
• Disconnect your wallet to stop participating
• Request deletion of your personal data by contacting us via Discord

8. Cookies

We do not use cookies or third-party tracking. Wallet connection state is stored in your browser's local storage and can be cleared at any time.
